Dixie’s Story
Hey, there. Dixie here.
I’m not a Russell, but I am such a sweet and loving girl. I would love a family with a big yard in which to play and a couch so I can snuggle with you. I give wonderful hugs.
I was was born around Sept 2024 and am a 32-pound love puppy (though fully grown). They don’t know my breed, but they do know I am affectionate and intelligent. I am fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped.
I do have one “problem” — and we do have the solution. I have a condition called Diabetes Insipidus. This is probably not the diabetes you are familiar with. I do not need insulin shots, but I do require a twice-daily pill of Desmopressin. The rescue will reimburse the adopter for my medication monthly and for my required checkups for my lifetime.
Like all of our adoptable dogs, I require a secure, above-ground, fenced yard, as I was found loose and lost once.
