Molly‘s and Samantha’s Story

Hello, big world! Molly and Samantha here.

We are a bonded pair who were left outdoors and ignored for a couple of years except for being fed. We came to the rescue in 2022 with cherry eyes and heartworms. The humans here helped us get rid of those nasty worms first, and we did wonderfully well. Next came fixing the cherry eyes, being spayed, getting our teeths cleaned, and having this little tracking chip thingie put into us. Whew! That was a lot — but all good stuff that made us feel a whole lot better than ever before.

We still look to each other for companionship and support, so we need to be adopted together. That said, we are now much more outgoing and willing to engage with people than we used to be. It just takes time and patience and we will entertain you as we entertain each other.

Molly is around 8 years old and Samantha is about 6. We tip the scales at a whole 13 pounds each.

As always, the rescue folks require that potential adopters have a secure, above-ground, fenced yard for our safety and security.
