What a wonderful day at the “Dogs Days of Summer Event” at the Buckhead Westin yesterday. We are so honored to have been invited to take part in this magnificent event to raise funds for Ahimsa House and our rescue.
The Westin and the tireless organizers went above and beyond to create an afternoon of amazing food, yummy drinks, fantastic raffle items and the chance to socialize and share the afternoon with one another and our dogs. The Westin is an awesome pet-friendly hotel who went to great lengths to keep all of us and our four-legged girls and guys happy today.
Most importantly, though … Thank you to everyone who came out (some even from out-of-state!), hit the cash bar and filled the raffle bowls. We can’t thank you enough. It was wonderful to see so many of our former rescues there with their moms and dads. Donna loved it!
