Be the Change Campaign

You are here: Home1 / Dog Blog2 / Dog Blog3 / Awareness Campaigns4 / Be the Change Campaign

It’s been awhile since we’ve ran a campaign, so … it’s time again! We’re kicking off our “Be the Change” campaign tonight for the next few weeks to share all of the ways you can help make a change in the life of a rescue dog. It ranges everything from sharing posts or voting online, to taking a dog into your home permanently. Every part you play makes a difference in the lives of our dogs, so we want to share that and encourage others to help “be the change,” too.

We have plenty of photos on hand, but if you have a photo of your adopted, foster, or your own dog doing something to help our rescue you would like featured, please don’t hesitate to send it to us! You can private message it to us or send it to jrtadoptions@gmail.com.

Please share our message and let’s inspire others to “Be the Change.”

Octavia

Octavia

We are kicking things off with Jeff and Cathy Carelson, who knowingly adopted Octavia in renal failure back in the spring. Fortunately, it has turned out that she’s NOT in renal failure and has many more months, even years, ahead of her. Taking on a senior dog, regardless of his or her health, is one of the MOST amazing things possible in the rescue world. It assures these beautiful dogs (many of whom have never known love in their life) discover the beautiful embrace of the human race, while opening up a kennel for another dog in need. They give so much to us; what a great way to give back.
