Our wine label photo contest has ended, and our top five fundraising winners have been announced. Congratulations, everyone, and thank you so, so, so much for your support in this fundraiser. The funds we raised will help go towards the enormous vet bill we just racked (back) up, preparing Lady for her second life.

Now … as stated in our contest rules, the sixth-place bottle will be of a photo that has 25 votes or more and will be chosen by “Team Russell” (the rescue’s volunteer group, which includes professional photographers, marketing and design experts). Team Russell will still be voting, but since we have so many of our own dogs in the running, we thought it only fair we open up the voting to everyone, who may not be as biased. Wink, wink.

So, we’re asking all of our online followers to vote for your favorite photo to win the sixth label spot. It’s fast, it’s free and it doesn’t require any personal information. Only one vote will be accepted per person, so choose wisely and/or ask your friends to vote. This will be a very short two-day poll. We want to start designing the labels, so we can ship the wines to the lucky winners soon. Voting begins now and will end at 8pm EST on Tuesday, June 7.

We have a winner!

The wine label photo contest has officially come to an end with Jenkins winning the public vote for the sixth wine bottle label by a resounding 200+ votes! He also reeled in 90 votes in the original contest.

Thank you so much to everyone who went head-to-head to raise funds for the rescue in this fundraiser. It was so difficult for everyone to choose with so many great photos submitted. We wish we had a case+ to include everyone.
