Skeety’s Story

Hey, people. Skeety here. My older brother, Odie, and I were dropped off at the kill shelter in the summer of 2015. Our family moved and they couldn’t take us with them, so … Yeah, let’s not dwell on it. It is what it is. We lost Odie to cancer, but I am safe and sound and ready to move on.

I’m up to date on shots, neutered, sweet and love to have fun. My favorite thing to do is go for walks and stare up at the skies and trees for critters. Silly squirrels … Bring it on! I’m kind of independent and like to do my own thing. It doesn’t mean I don’t like you. I’m just being me. If you’re like that, too, what a great couple we would make!

I didn’t get along with other dogs for awhile, but am now doing much better. I prefer a sister or brother who is submissive and “chill.” I’m a curious boy but not very reactive, so I prefer someone who is cool, calm and collective — like me! I’m also very smart and focused, i.e. agility came easy to me.
