Monty’s Story

Hey, there! Monster (aka Monty) here, My mom had to move and couldn’t take me with her, so I landed here at GA JRT-University rescue, partying with my four-legged friends and looking for some new digs.

I’m four years old, about 16-18 lbs., friendly, healthy and hyper … as any scruffy JRT should be. And, as you know, we scruffies do have a “crazy” reputation. I beg to differ. We’re not crazy; we’re just bred and born to be adventurous! I’m always ready to go, to explore, to try new things, to … well … take on the world!

So … with that said, I will need an experienced JRT parent. I am very sweet and very smart, but I have a lot of energy and I need a positive place to focus it on. I don’t dislike other dogs, but, yeah, I like to “challenge” them in my own way, so … again … I will need an experienced JRT parent.

If you’re “that person” (and you know who you are), please see below on how to get the foster or adoption process rolling.
