My Wishes

Adorable Duke here! Looking at me now, you’d never guess what I was like just six months ago. I arrived from the kill shelter, eaten up by fleas. My poor little tail only had a small tuft at the end and, of course, I was heartworm positive. I’ve now healed up nicely, thanks to ointments and a good diet, and I’m loving life in my wonderful foster home. The only thing better would be to have one to permanently call my own.

While I wait, I would love to stay busy with Nylabones, any other kind of durable chew toys or, even better, some tough fabric toys. I’ll admit, I’ll tear the latter to bits and have to eventually surrender it, but ohhhh, the fun I’ll have doing it! I love food, too, so any kind of premium food or treats would be awesome.

On the practical side (booo), my foster mom says I’m afraid of thunder, so a ThunderShirt (small) would help me cope. I also love lounging on comfy beds.

Where to Buy

If you live in Atlanta, you can pick up these items at the two locations hosting our angel trees, including Intown Healthy Hound at 891 Cherokee Avenue in Grant Park or at Dog City Bakery II at 6309 1-D Roswell Road in Sandy Springs. You can leave them at the store, along with a note for me, and our little elves will pick them up for me before Santa’s delivery on Christmas.

If you don’t live in Atlanta, you can visit our Amazon Wish List and find any of these things to ship directly to the rescue.

If you would like to donate to me directly for the holidays and let Mama Donna pick the best thing for my immediate needs, you can do so by visiting my page.
