Skipper - Missing Jack Russell rescue in Anderson, South Caroline

Let’s Find Skippy in South Carolina

Yes, we are Georgia Jack Russell Rescue, but we can’t stand hearing about a missing Jack, especially one from another rescue who needs medication. That has happened to us and it’s heartbreaking, so let’s hope the post helps and we bring Skipper home!

Skipper has gone missing in the Anderson, S.C., area around Hwy. 187 and 181. He was living in a foster home for Upstate Animal Rescue Foundation. His foster family had him locked up tight inside the home when they left, but he managed to knock out a screen and escaped.

He is a male JRT about 10 pounds with two newly shaved spots off his back, where he just received heartworm treatment. He is fully vaccinated and chipped, but he was not wearing his collar at the time. He is friendly and will come to almost anyone.

Alerts have been placed with the newspaper, county/surrounding counties and animal control. A reward has also been offered for his return. The rescue has a big adoption event this weekend and can’t get full charge of things unit they know he’s back, safe and sound.

If you have any information regarding him, please contact Kelley Blair, director of Upstate Animal Rescue, at kblair01017@yahoo.com.
