Summer was in the air, which meant June was a month for rescue events and fairs … and beating the heat.
Animal Rescue Fair
Susie and her puppies attended the Animal Rescue Fair at Wills Park Equestrian Center in Alpharetta. We didn’t get any adoptions, but awareness is always good and it was great to meet some of the other rescue groups.

Mutts & More Festival
We also brought Susie, Pongo and her babies to the Mutts & More Festival in Cumming. It was day of fun with games, food, live music, the Rucker Dog Show and, of course, the Mutt Strutt,

Beatin’ the Heat
The temperatures were also starting to rise at rescue, so you know what that meant – time to break out the baths and swimming pools to keep cool!
