Jack Flashback 2012: Ginger

Ginger was abandoned and found running with some four-legged friends beside a busy street last year. Donna and others worked for several days to “catch” them and take them to different rescues/homes. Ginger came home with us. She didn’t have an ounce of Jack in her, but that didn’t matter. This happy little girl lit up our world while she lived with us. Aside from her separation anxiety issues, she was the perfect dog: Snuggly, wiggly and thankful for every bit of attention. She did not like life in a kennel, though, so we knew we had to find her a home.

In May, one of our dedicated volunteers teamed up with her 10-year-old niece, who needed a snuggle-bug to call her own, to convince Mom and Dad the family needed another dog. They needed Ginger. Said volunteer and niece were very persuasive. Within days, Ginger was on her way to North Carolina to her forever life. Thanks to the Davis family for taking this precious girl into your home and keeping us in stories and photos.

Here’s an update and photos from her family.

“Ginger has been a great addition to our family! She enjoys going on walks with Kinsey and snuggling in our bed every morning after breakfast. She cannot wait to go on car rides, but not to the vet! She loves unconditionally and it makes us happy she has a real home to spread her love. 🙂 Thank you for matching us up with her!”
