We’ve shared with you some ways to help the dogs this holiday season, including ways to shop online and how to foster. We know some of you prefer to “deposit directly” and make an instant impact, especially at year-end for tax deductions. We are a 501(c)3 and any monetary donation to us does apply, so … Here’s what we really (really, really, really) need — help with our vet bills!

We are currently raising funds for John John’s bill at UGA, but we owe our regular vet (Lithonia Animal Hospital) tons of money for year-round vetting and in-the-middle-of-the-night emergencies. They have been great with us and let us pay as we go, but our bills for our seniors and special-needs dogs accrue much faster than our donations or our reimbursement (and that’s all it is) adoption fees.
